Over the duration of WW II, A Japanese businessman and his trophy wife are suspected of spying because they associate with an English silk trader. It doesn’t help that the couple are living a “decadent western” lifestyle. As the war progresses, while living an inconsequential life, the blissfully innocent wife awakens and then responds to the duplicity and her misplaced loyalty.
