Film Description

A weekend trip home for university student Madison (Star Slade) to see her cousin Nika (Ellyn Jade) devolves into a violent encounter with a corrupt cop that results in his injury. The Indigenous cousins fear that their account will not be believed, so go on the run together from the Rez, to the wilderness, to the big city. Meanwhile, sharp-eyed detective (Amanda Brugel) digs more deeply into the situation, but when the case hinges upon the word of a police officer against those of two young Indigenous women, is the justice system stacked against them?
