Film Description

In 1976 a completely unknown “golfer” enters the British Open qualifying round.  Maurice Flitcroft is unique, optimistic, unstoppable and…has never played the game. The golf establishment is horrified. A crane operator, he reasons that practice is all and embarks on a real life journey backed by his family, friends and then, with enthusiasm, the British public.
