Russell, taking his first steps as a drag queen, escapes from a shattering breakup to Prince Edward County. His refuge in his grandmother’s home is complicated by her refusal to enter long term care despite clear evidence of decline. Featuring some powerful stage performances from Thomas Duplessie, the film also marks Cloris Leachman’s final starring role before her death at age 94.
