Film Description

A chance meeting can change everything.  A taxi driver, crushed by circumstances, is hoping for a quick fare to the suburbs of Paris when he picks up Madeleine.  She is about to enter a care home and sees the journey as her last opportunity to visit the significant locations that marked her surprisingly dramatic life, including the occupation of France by the brutal Nazi regime. Her recollections gradually intertwine her life with her driver’s resulting in consequences that neither could anticipate.

(Warning: This film contains a scene of violence which may disturb some viewers.)
