In a very timely look back to the 1960s, versatile housewife Joy, who edits her husband’s legal papers and efficiently runs her household, finds her self-sufficiency challenged. Her unwanted pregnancy runs headlong into abortion laws that preceded Roe v Wade. Seeing a posted flyer in her Chicago suburb, she turns to The Janes.
