In this crime-noir shot in Toronto, NYC and the Caribbean, Akilla Brown captures a fifteen-year-old Jamaican boy in the aftermath of an armed robbery. Over one gruelling night, Akilla re-engages with a cycle of generational violence he thought he escaped. Only this time his life’s experience may reset the lives of the boy and his mother.
