TRAIN DREAMS

Train Dreams is an epic in miniature. Robert, a day labourer in the American West at the start of the 20th century, struggles to make sense of the radical changes thrust upon him at this point in history. In this adaptation of Denis Johnson’s novella, as the rugged loggers, railroad workers, and bridge builders navigate the otherworldly beauty of the flora, fauna and landscapes, we bear witness to the disappearance of a distinctly North American way of life.
