Film Description

A genuine and informed glimpse into the lives of two people who choose Canada after a family tragedy. In a west coast suburb, a single Korean mother carries a hidden past that isolates her young son. They are greeted by casual racism at every turn, enduring bullying, sexism, loneliness and frustration. They are clearly outsiders but determined to succeed.
