Film Description
The plot is simple but the telling is an homage by Director Alice Rohrwacher to the heights of Italian cinema. Described as “a magical realism version of the classic one-last-heist movie” images shift, colours drift. Reality is uncertain. An English treasure hunter emerges from jail to resurrect his disparate gang, find Etruscan treasures and kiss poverty goodbye. If it was only that easy for this pack of eccentric characters.
