Film Description

Ali meets Ava, a school classroom assistant, while doing yet another of the good deeds he’s known for. This genial landlord for his family’s properties observes Ava’s affectionate nature with her students, especially Sofia. Ava is equally intrigued and they begin a journey challenged by complex pasts, contrary music tastes, racism and social tensions in contemporary England. An unusual love story from an unexpected place.
