First Run

Every year filmmakers new and old, Canadian and international, create intriguing and challenging new films. Current critically acclaimed and fan favourites are shown biweekly at the Empire Theatre on QFA’s Great Movie Wednesdays.

Festival Quality

TIFF, Vancouver, Montreal, Sudbury, Cannes, Sundance. QFA attends or observe these and more renowned festivals and selects 19 films each year from across the world for you.
