Plans for D-Day have been months in the making, but in the tense 72 hours before D-Day, and with the fate of the free world hanging in the balance, there are conflicting opinions about the impending weather’s impact on the mission. Pressure shows Scottish meteorologist Captain James Stagg’s (Andrew Scott) efforts to convince General Dwight D. Eisenhower (Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser) to delay the launch of the largest and most dangerous seaborne invasion in history or risk losing the war altogether.
