RELAY

When whistleblower Sarah (Downton Abbey’s Lily James) is pressured into changing her mind, she seeks a way to return the incriminating documents and disappear. She makes contact with Ash (Emmy winner Riz Ahmed), a middleman who brokers deals using hard to trace technologies, whose main line of communication is a telephone relay service for the Deaf, whose operators are legally bound to withhold the identities of their users. Relay is cat-and-mouse thriller in an age of hyper-surveillance, when it’s never been harder to leave no trace.
