Film Description
In the early 1970s Brazil’s dictatorship reshaped the country through detentions and disappearances. One of them was Rubens Paiva. His wife, Eunice, embarked on a prolonged and harrowing crusade to gain his release while preserving a normal life for her family. Lead actor Fernanda Torres and the film have been showered with awards since the premiere last September at the Venice Film Festival.
