Film Description

In the midst of the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918, a stranger turns up on an estate claiming to be the new cook. With the plague knocking on the gates, the wealthy family and their servants find their normal lives challenged by external forces and those much closer to home. In this subversive comedy, the new cook doesn’t seem to acknowledge his lowly status.
