This film is drawn from a true story in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. A Syrian refugee family revives their vocation and passion in this unfamiliar community. However, two dreams are clashing as the son wants to become a doctor while the father is focussed on his family’s chocolate making legacy. The surrounding community both aids and hinders the family’s ambitions.
